Berta de Pablos-Barbier has 30 years of executive experience from global luxury and consumer goods brands. Most recently, she served as the President & CEO of LVMH’s champagne brands Moët & Chandon, Dom Perignon and Mercier, where she spearheaded new innovations that elevated the brands and led to record results. “Berta uniquely spans the consumer space from high-end to affordable luxury and has a very strong track record in defining and implementing compelling visions and growth strategies for great global brands. She’s perfect for leading the next chapter of our marketing strategy, as we continue to establish the perception of Pandora as a full jewellery brand,” said President & CEO Alexander Lacik.
Since the launch of the Phoenix strategy in 2021, Pandora has returned to solid growth. A key component of the strategy is to elevate brand desirability and change consumer perception of Pandora, from primarily offering charms and bracelets into a full jewellery brand. Among other initiatives, Pandora is expanding its collections across new categories, materials and aesthetics such as its lab-grown diamonds range and its new sculptural ESSENCE collection.
“Pandora stands out as an iconic global brand on an impressive growth journey with sustainability at the forefront. The brand is undergoing an incredible transformation, and I can’t wait to join the talented team and skilled craftsmen to help elevate Pandora even further,” said Berta de Pablos-Barbier.
Berta de Pablos-Barbier is a Spanish national and currently lives in Paris with her husband and daughter. She will join Pandora in November and relocate to Copenhagen.
Berta de Pablos-Barbier replaces Mary Carmen (MC) Gasco-Buisson who is leaving Pandora after two years to take up a new role in the UK.
“I would like to thank MC for the strong contribution she’s made to our brand and company. We wish her the very best,” said President & CEO Alexander Lacik.
